A gorgeous Pregnancy specific class in person and via Zoom that's suitable for Mums to Be from 14 weeks to full term (we recommend that you do leave it later than 32 weeks to start). The class includes a standing warm up where we mobilise the upper body to release tension, work on balance and strengthening the lower body, as well as pelvic floor and abdominal strength to support you as your bump grows. We then move onto the mat for the main part of the class where we strengthen the whole body to keep you strong for lifting and carrying your baby and all the paraphernalia that comes with a little one! We sometimes utilise small equipment like a small ball, stretchy band, light weights or a gym ball (particularly as your pregnancy progresses). We'd definitely recommend getting a gym ball if you can but most other items can be substituted with something you already have at home, We then finish the session with some pelvic floor work, stretching of the muscles that can get tight in pregnancy (chest, hips and hamstrings) and a lovely relaxation where we focus on breathing techniques to calm the mind and aid in labour.
