Remember when you could bring your baby to class and go at your own pace? Now life looks different. You're back at work. Your little one's bigger, heavier, running everywhere. And finding time (and childcare!) for YOU feels impossible. That's exactly why Mamalates exists. This is the natural next step after Mamas & Minis - a postnatal Pilates class that evolves with you as your life changes. What Makes Mamalates Different Ultimate flexibility - you choose: → Join us live in the studio for community and connection → Join live online from home (no childcare needed!) → Watch the replay whenever it suits you - PJs totally acceptable! Designed for THIS stage of motherhood: Your body's needs have changed. You're lifting heavier toddlers. Chasing kids around. Dealing with different physical demands. Mamalates focuses on exactly what you need now: ✨ Advanced pelvic floor and core strengthening (for those growing, heavier small people!) ✨ Building on everything you learned in Mamas & Minis ✨ Tension release from all that carrying and running around ✨ Strengthening from the inside out so you feel capable and confident Real-life friendly: → Can't start on time because bedtime's running late? Join when you can - replay available → Need to pause halfway through to sort out little ones? No problem - catch up later → Classes kept small (6-8) whether you're in studio or online → Relaxed, welcoming atmosphere - go at your own pace → I'm still here for feedback, questions, and technique checks even if you're online The best of both worlds: Get the effectiveness of a progressive Pilates practice WITH the flexibility of fitting it into chaotic mum life. Community Still Matters Once a term, online mamas are invited to join us in person for a class together - followed by coffee, chat, and treats. Can't make it? I'll send you a pre-recorded class to do at home instead. Because even when life gets busy, connection matters. Who This Class Is For All mums are welcome! We recommend you've completed Mamas & Minis or worked through the postnatal section on our Online Studio first, so you have the foundations we'll be building on. The Bottom Line Life moved on. You went back to work. Your baby became a toddler. But your postnatal journey doesn't have to end. Mamalates lets you continue strengthening, healing, and prioritizing yourself - without needing to figure out childcare or leave the house. Your body deserves this next level of care. Cancellation Policy
If you're new to In Balance Pilates please read the details below about how to find us, what to bring, our cancellation policy and to fill in a medical questionnaire before your first session.. Thanks so much! Michelle x How to find us: The class at Studio E is on Princess Avenue, Oakham, LE15 6PQ, it’s just up the road from the hospital in Oakham. If you can’t find it give me a bell (07973 870508) and I’ll direct you! There’s loads of parking around the building so it should be easy to find a space. When you arrive come up the ramp on the side of the building and the class will be in the large studio on the right. There’s loads of storage to place bags/shoes/coats/buggies and a toilet with baby changing facilities just ahead of you on the left. All you need to know about our classes: Classes are very relaxed and friendly and we encourage you to go at your own pace and above all, enjoy! Our Mamas & Minis class is very relaxed so please feel free to cuddle/change nappies/feed as you need to. In class I’ll have a playmat with toys and a baby bouncer if you would like to make use of them. I’m also always up for baby cuddles! What to bring: All you need is to wear comfortable clothing you can move around in easily, and to bring a bottle of water and a mat if you have one. If you don’t, let me know and I’ll have one ready for you. If you're coming to a Mamas & Minis class bring whatever your little one needs too. At the end of the session there will be tea and something yummy to nibble so you can have a chance to chat and get to know each other. If you have any dietary requirements let me know and if you need to rush off don’t worry, just bring a travel mug so you can take your goodies to go! One last thing! The last thing I need from you is a medical questionnaire, if you’re able to complete this and send back to me before your class that would be great! I'll email the correct one to you once you've booked your class. Looking forward to seeing you! Cancellation policy: If you can't make your usual session due to illness/holiday we'd love you to take a make up class in any of our other classes. This ensures you maintain that great Pilates feeling! NOTE - make up classes MUST be taken within the same block and cannot be carried over. Subject to available space and must be booked in advance - contact Michelle directly to book your make up session. PRIVATE SESSIONS - please note private sessions require 24 hours notice of cancelation/change. Less than 24 hrs notice will result in the full session being charged.
